Ready for this one! We’ve got a brilliant new team member to introduce you to this month. And believe me, that means we’ve got a brilliant KNP Meet the Team Q&A to share with you! Honestly, this is a great way to spend a few minutes getting to know the newest KNPer.
Are you set? Free from distractions? Good to go? OK, let’s do this. The Team KNP member feeling far too comfortable and relaxed in the face of a fearsome interrogation is our new Key Account Director Nikki Hamersley!
Meet the Team: Nikki Hamersley!
Those are some pretty spectacular dungarees Nikki, good job I’ve got my shades on for this. Let’s kick off.
Who would you want to play you in a film of your life: NATASHA LYONNE. In school, when American Pie first came out (showing my age there) my nickname became Jess because apparently we looked alike. She seems pretty cool now too and she kept the hair! You do, you do look alike!
What special (by special we mean useless) talent do you have: IF AN ACTOR/ACTRESS POPS UP IN A SHOW OR FILM, within about 5 seconds I can tell you what they’ve been in before without googling it. And if no police are reading this, I can put mascara on whilst driving. First talent, I’ll have you on our pub quiz team. Second ‘talent’, less said the better I think.
What common quote or saying most annoys you: NO OFFENCE BUT… Just say what you have to say, I’m an adult, I can handle it. Well, unless it’s a client going elsewhere. Then I do take offence, big offence, haha!
Favourite TV programme: THE SOPRANOS. Hands down, best thing to ever be on TV, and I even loved the ending! Followed by Sons of Anarchy.
Your Favourite food: GOOD OLD PIE AND MASH. No jellied eels though, yuck!. OK, so that’s why Dave hired you is it. Bit of a kindred spirit.
Favourite musician / artist: SLASH. He’s just on another level. To see him perform live is mesmerising. And that hat eh?.
And favourite book: AUTOBIOGRAPHIES. I prefer the real life stuff so that’s all I read. I’m currently reading Al Pacino’s Sonny Boy, which is really interesting.
Worst film you’ve ever seen: BURN AFTER READING. I was really looking forward to it, but what on earth did I watch? I also shouldn’t admit this, but I was disappointed in The Many Saints of Newark. Don’t tell David Chase..
Name 3 people (dead or alive) you’d have as dinner guests: MY MUM, because she was so much fun, and to drink with her one last time would be amazing. SLASH, although I’d make him play for his food. And MY SISTER, because I can’t have my mother and not my sister too! So you want to integrate Slash into the family really then. Is that what you’re saying?
Who would you not want to be stuck in a lift with: My Mother in Law. Joke! We have a great relationship. SADIQ KHAN, can’t stand the man. But he loves you!
When you were young, what did you want to be: A JOURNALIST. Until I saw what they were paid. Then a lawyer, not because I love to argue or always think I am right, haha, but I love debate and fact finding.
Favourite gadget: MY EARPODS. I love a podcast and loud music.
Worst habit: I’m sure my husband would say talking over him, but probably STAYING UP WAYYY LATER THAN I SHOULD, especially on a school night.
If you could live anywhere, where would it be: I’D STAY PUT (maybe just a bigger house) as I have my friends and family around me and that means more to me than living somewhere else. Or, thinking about it, anywhere about an hour away from Vegas. Sod the friends and family! I can see how much they matter to you!
OK, we’re on the last question – what special power would you like to have: THE ABILITY TO SLEEP THROUGH MY HUSBAND SNORING! Yeah, a lot of people would like that one!
And that was that. Meet the Team: Nikki Hamersley is a wrap!
If you want to talk print products and solutions with our new Key Account Director Nikki, you’ll get just as much enthusiasm, honesty and insight to ensure you’ll get the best possible solution for your needs.
Finish your cuppa if you had one, snaffle another cheeky biscuit before you get back to work, and until next time…!
The KNP team.
