Well, yesterday was the Suffolk Business Awards 2020 and we didn’t win Small Business of The Year. I’m gutted but that’s only natural isn’t it.
Our warm congratulations go to the winners Strategiq, who also went on to scoop the overall prize of Business of the Year. Worthy winners indeed, and something that softened the blow was being up against wonderful competition.
2020 has been tough for everyone, and for every business out there. At KNP we’ve faced challenges like we’ve never seen before. We’ve adapted and we’ve kept going. It was that adaptability and our determination that the judges loved.

And that’s all down to the quite simply brilliant team and our supportive clients. I’m so, so proud of each and every one of the gang here. We didn’t win but that doesn’t change the immense pride I have in the outstanding people working at KNP. Throughout the year, each and everyone of the team have committed themselves to maintaining the very best level of service and the very best level of quality, delivering the very best job they can. They’ve done this whilst adapting to new processes, new working environments, new ways of working brought about by the pandemic. And quickly learning how to work with new products as we’ve looked to deliver the solutions our clients need.

And I also want to say a heartfelt thanks to all our clients who’ve supported us. They’ve placed their trust in us to continue to do an outstanding job for them and turned to us to provide them with new products and materials in incredibly trying circumstances. We’ve built even stronger partnerships during 2020.
On top of all that, I’m proud of the work we’ve done for local communities and national charities during the pandemic, donating our services and helping the vulnerable and elderly feel safer or less alone.
Suffolk Business Awards 2020 – taking stock
Do you know, we probably wouldn’t have taken stock of everything the whole team has achieved this year if we hadn’t entered the Suffolk Business Awards 2020. Winning isn’t what matters most, what matters is that what makes KNP KNP has really come to the fore this year. And every KNPer can feel proud that who they are and what they do has contributed to helping other businesses keep fighting and helped members of the public who need it.
